Spiritual Adoption

GOD OUR CREATOR, by your love the world is filled with life. Through your generosity, one generation gives life to another, and so are your wonders told and your praises sung. I look to you in this time of need; bless my desire to spiritually adopt one of the many children now in danger of abortion. I will nurture this child with prayer and love, remembering how Mary and Joseph nurtured Jesus as a vulnerable and helpless infant. God, be close to us as we pray to love and do your will. Amen.

Every day in the United States alone, over 3,000 children die due to abortion. We invite you to “spiritually” adopt a child whose life is in danger of abortion. During your earthly life this spiritually adopted child of yours will be known only to God but in the world to come it is hoped that you will meet the child whose life was spared by your prayers and spend eternal happiness with them.

There are 3 simple steps to do:

• Every day through nine months you should say the following prayer:

“Lord Jesus, through the intercession of Mary and Joseph, I pray that you bless, protect, and save the unborn child that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion. Grant the grace of truth, love, and courage to the parents that they will let their baby live to give Glory to God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen”

• Followed by a decade of the Holy Rosary (1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and Glory…)

• Plus any additional prayer or good deeds
